The necessary requirement for the master's degree

1. Basic philosophy
Department of Materials Science and Engineering comprises five fields. A graduate student must take both major special subjects offered by a field which he/she belongs to and minor special subjects offered by the other fields.

2. Minimum number of credits required for the master's degree
Total number of credit must be 30 and over including all credits below.
(1) Special subject: 12 and over (Major subject: preferably 8 and over. Minor subject: 4 and over)
(2) Common subject: 4
(3) Technical Presentation: 2
(4) Colloquium: 2
(5) Seminar: 2
(6) Workshop: 4
